ddrescueview software package provides graphical viewer for GNU ddrescue map files, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ddrescueview
ddrescueview is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ddrescueview package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ddrescueview *
You will get with ddrescueview package name, version, architecture and description in a table
